School Life

Built in 2005, this new £3.5m primary school has become a hub for the whole community. In 2015 the school was extended to enable expansion to two form entry from nursery to year 6.

Constructed to replace two former primary schools, Ashbury Meadow provides a high quality learning environment for pupils, as well as a Surestart Children's Centre.

The school has close links with the neighbouring Manchester City Football Club and benefits greatly from the City in the Community programmes, which include healthy lifestyles, disability awareness, cooking and teaching pupils about money matters. The football club also support our curriculum by providing physical education coaching for all year groups from year 1-6, and out of school football coaching . We are able to walk across to the grounds for tournaments throughout the year. In summer 2024 we held our school sports day at the athletics stadium, which provided our pupils with an excellent environment in which compete, with over 200 familes coming to support the event over the day.
