In the event of partial or whole school closure for an extended period, children will be taught remotely from home, using online devices.
For children within our EYFS home learning will be posted via Tapestry the child's online learning journal. All parents are given access to this when their child/children start school and should recieve a link from Tapestry to set up their account. Home learning will be sent via a 'Memo' which can only be accessed by parents when logging into Tapestry via your web browser. The Memo section cannot be viewed in the Tapestry app. Go to https://tapestryjournal.com/ before entering your personal details to log in. The Memo tab will be at the top of the screen and where any home learning wil be posted.
We kindly ask that parents read through the activity/allow children to watch the video (where necessary) then support children in providing evidence of their learning before sharing this as an observation via Tapestry. If for any reason you have not got access to Tapestry or need support please contact your class teacher or email@example.com.
For children within Y1-Y6, we will be using Google Classroom to access work when learning for home. Children have had their logons for Google Classroom sent home inside the Maths and English books that were sent out to support with home learning.
If your child does not have their logon, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive your password. Please state your child's name and class within this email.
When logging onto the classroom on a computer/laptop, please use the following video to support you with logging on. This is the best way to access Google Classroom.
If using a tablet or mobile device, ensure you have the google classroom, google docs and google sheets apps downloaded. Then logon through the google classroom app to access.
If you need further support, please contact your class teacher or email@example.com.
