Planting a Bean

Lesson: Understanding the World

Class: Nursery R & J Year: 2023 - 2024

This half term our topic is 'Growing', and we have been discussing all of the different things that grow. We already know that babies, animals and plants grow. The children have been investigating what a plant needs to grow, and have even planted their own bean! 

We put lots of soil into a pot, popped the bean in, added more soil and watered it. Then we put them in a place where they will get lots of sunshine. We have been waiting very patiently for them to start sprouting, but nothing has happened yet!
