Hate Crime Awareness Event

On Monday 6th February the Rights Team went to Gorton Monastery to take part and showcase some amazing things happening in our schools across the city to encourage tolerance and acceptance.

Working closely with St Agnes CE School, Longsight and with others who have shared their passion for promoting peace, this was real chance for schools, both secondary and primary, to showcase some of the excellent work that takes place, including;

Peace Mala – promoting the understanding respect friendship and peace between all communities and cultures.

Rights Respecting – promoting children’s rights for well-being, participation, relationships and self-esteem
