Problem Solving in Nursery

In Nursery and throughout the school we are focussing on our 'problem solving skills'... problem solving is part of our everyday lives and it relevant in all we do. From encouraging the children to find ways to put on their own coats and turn take to sharing out a picnic basket fairly in maths our children gain first hand experience of problem solving on a daily basis. 

You too can help with their ability to problem solve encouraging them to be more independent or think of resolutions to problems them may come to you with themselves. 

We have taken some pictures of the children participating in brillant problem solving, some could even suggest that we 'HALF' the 3 slices  bread to enable it to be shared fairly between 6 teddies at the party!
